Project Khotan
So far we have facilitated the relocation of 17 families to Turkey. For this case, Abdul Majeed Khotani, a Uyghur scholar faced pressure from the Chinese government due to his authored books. With China's threat looming, we sought to send his family to Turkey, avoiding the perilous return to China. We were able to complete our objective to secure funds for visas and tickets for the family of 8, including 6 children and 2 adults.
Qurbani Donation 2023
Eid ul Azha meat distribution for Uyghur families in Pakistan. Over 400 families enrolled, seeking donations for sheep ($150) and cow shares ($115 each). We delivered meat to 230 Uyghur families and 300 packages to Pakistani and Afghan communities, reaching around 550 families.
Project Gul
Humsaaya aided a Uyghur family facing a threatening ultimatum from the Chinese embassy in Pakistan. With a two-month deadline to return to China, risking passport cancellation and arrest, Humsaaya facilitated their relocation to Turkey amidst the dire circumstances of ethnic genocide in their homeland.
Project Domestic Relief
Humsaaya intervened for a Uyghur woman trapped in an abusive marriage in Pakistan. Urgently contacted, we ensured her safety by relocating her and her son, providing much-needed relief from the distressing situation.
